Teledermatology

(Virtual Visit)
A teledermatology visit is a virtual appointment with Dr Goddard through a smartphone, tablet or internet-connected computer that has a camera and microphone. This is done directly through our secure and privacy protected technology platform. You can use a teledermatology visit to address any number of new or existing dermatology-related problems. Common conditions we can address virtually include acne, rosacea, hair loss, psoriasis and other various rashes. Conditions that cannot be addressed with teledermatology include skin cancers, changing moles or conditions requiring hands on surgical procedures.

Shave biopsy - $125
Flat fee for single shave biopsy (no stitches).

Destruction of superficial skin cancers

by curettage (scraping) and electrodessication (burning)
This is often referred to as “scrape and burn” in dermatology offices
This is appropriate only for smaller superficial basal cell carcinoma or squamous cell carcinoma in situ and not an option for deeper skin cancers

Cosmetic cauterization

$100-300
Schedule
This is for sebaceous hyperplasia (overgrown oil glands on the face), cherry angiomas (bright red small growths on the body)

Milia extraction

$100-300
Schedule
This is for those little white pinpoint bumps/cysts that are a common nuisance on the face. They are clogged pores with trapped miniature keratin cysts. We prep the skin, open up the cyst and press them out in a safe and effective way

Cosmetic Dermatology

Cosmetic consultation

This includes expert evaluation of skin texture, discoloration and unwanted lines. We will discuss a plan based on your budget that could include topical prescription or over the counter products, in-office chemical peels, and injectable therapies
The consultation fee can be applied to services provided within 1 month of consultation
All cosmetic procedures at MD Derm are performed directly by Dr Goddard, an expert in the science of skin and positive aging

Wrinkle relaxers

$200-600
Schedule
We are talking about products such as Botox™, Dysport™, Xeomin™. These are also referred to as “neurotoxins”. These products are injected into muscles of facial expression to reduce lines that are caused by facial muscle movement. Examples are the vertical lines between the eyes, horizontal lines on the forehead, and “crows feet” around the eyes.
Pricing is based on the amount of neurotoxin needed. This is determined by Dr Goddard based on your facial muscle strength, the number of areas treated and the severity of lines. A typical session can cost $200-600 and a precise estimate for your treatment will be discussed at consultation.

Volume boosters

$650-2400
Schedule
We are talking about what is more commonly referred to as “Fillers”. There are typically hyaluronic acid based products, injected into areas of the face that have lost volume and would benefit from a plumping effect. This can include desire for fuller lips, cheeks, or a more defined jawline
Pricing is based on the amount of product needed to achieve desired results. We priced based on product type/brand and volume needed. Prices range between $650-$2400 per treatment, depending on the area treated and significance of volume change.

Chemical Peels

$150-300
Schedule
Chemical peels are an in-office procedure that can improve acne, reduce fine lines, and correct sun-damaged skin. These are stronger than over the counter peels and require precision in strength, chemical compound and application technique.
